I decided to make a nicer-looking version of one of my older stamps: fav.me/d6dx3y8
So Gen 5 came out, what, 5 or 4 years ago? Yet this subject is still relevant. An adorable and surprisingly good pokemon is hated just because he looks like ice cream. Me, personally? I liked this thing at first because it was ice cream. Who doesen't like ice cream?
I know that saying this will not work, as many, MANY people have said it, and genwunners still ignore it, but Gen 1 has less original designs than Gen 5. Gen 5 has things like rocket-powered golems and dragons with heads for hands, and what does gen 1 have? A pile of sludge, six "eggs", a snake, a rat, a fat orange dragon (Which I love, mind you), a seal (Which, by the way, is literally named Seel), and A POKEBALL WITH EYES. Does a living ice cream cone with an icicle for a cone and an ice straw sound less original than any of those? No? Okay then.
TL;DR: Vanilluxe is a great pokemon. Gen 1 had worse ideas than Vanilluxe.

Vanilluxe is one of my favorite Pokémon from the Unova region, and possibly of all-time. It’s too cute to be hated! I found out it’s based on, not just ice cream, but also Pillsbury Doughboy and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, which is my favorite movie of all time. I wish that they can make a gigantamax form for it and make the form look more like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
